Wireless 2014

. July 12, 2014 .

Last Friday brought Wireless festival, and this year I was invited along by Debenhams to attend with their lovely PR girls, blogger babes and the amazing designer that is Henry Holland. From meeting Jourdan Dunn to dancing like a mad woman in the VIP ring to Kanye West, it was one of the most incredible days.

We started the day right with breakfast at Hoi Polloi in Shoreditch, filling up on buttermilk pancakes and Bucks Fizz. I was seated opposite Henry, so it was great to get the chance to get to know him a little better, he's such a lovely guy and was making everyone laugh with his funny stories. Lucky me got to pick a few things from his H! by Henry Holland collection to wear, how incredible are the gem-stoned sandals?! I ended up twinning with Kelly who thought they were just as awesome as I did, and who is a total babe- btw. We had great fun giggling at some questionable festival outfits, pants or shorts was a question we kept finding ourselves with! I also met the babes Sabrina and Kristabel, it was great hanging out with them and being able to enjoy the day with some new blogger friends.

I haven't really been too organised with festival's this year, so was super excited to find out I'd be going to Wireless, and even more so knowing I had a VIP ticket. The section we were in was such an amazing way to enjoy the festival. A mixture of press and brands, the area was super chilled, complete with bean bags and not-so-chilled performance artists from Cirque le Soir, who was sponsoring the booze tents. Which, we had unlimited access too all day, don't worry- I made sure to have more than my fair share of free cocktails and food. Incredible.

We also got access to a smaller arena right in front of the stage, so getting to watch Iggy, Pharrell and Kanye was all the more special. Each of them put on a phenomenal performance and got the whole crowd singing and dancing, me especially so. Iggy had the most insane dance troupe and Rita gave a surprise performance during one of her songs which was again, insane. Pharrell got everyone jumping around to his classics, and Kanye gave what was probably hands down one of the best performances I've ever seen live. Despite his little first-world-problems 15 minute rant. And, if all that wasn't enough, I also managed to bag a selfie with the goddess that is Jourdan Dunn. Who also told me I looked amazing. Come. on.

Honestly Debenhams, Gatherly and Henry, I can't thank you enough for such an awesome day.
