Paris, France

Arrivée à Paris

. August 11, 2014 .

Bonjour strangers, sorry it’s been more than a week since my last post – I spent the majority of last week travelling and roaming the streets of Paris (not sorry.) I had the most wonderful time out there with my mumma, with a little help from Ugg & their #bestdaysofsummer campaign.

We were there the best part of 3 days and stayed at cute little boutique hotel, Hotel du Bois just off the Champs Elysees. It was scorching hot when we arrived, so not long after checking in we promptly changed outfits, put on my new UGG shoe's and headed off out to explore. One thing I hadn’t expected - how heaving Paris would be in August. Seriously, people everywhere! Apparently the French always take August off, so not only was the city full of tourists but also with the residents themselves! Though I’m not complaining at all, and we still managed to snag a table over-looking the Elysees that night for dinner.
With full bellies we wandered back up the road to the Arc de Triomphe, just as the sun was setting.  I’ve been to Paris 3 times previously, but never actually went up the great Arc, so it was a perfect way to end out first night. Though thank god I was wearing my comfortable Ugg flats, the stairs are quite something – but of course so worth it for the panoramic view over Paris, simply beautiful.
As part of their #bestdaysofsummer campaign, Ugg are running an amazing competition where you could be in with the chance of winning a £300 gift card! Sound good? Simply upload a photo of your favourite Ugg shoes and where theyve taken you this summer to Twitter or Facebook, with the #bestdaysofsummer hashtag. See full details here.
Stay tuned to see what I got up to the next day in tomorrows post!
