Two words. Julien Macdonald. You haven't seen a show until you've seen one like that, I can't thank Debenhams enough for letting me cover it for them - and of course kitting me out in his Star by Julien Macdonald line.

But, lets not forget the other incredible collections I saw last Saturday. The day kicked off with Orla Keily, which had me so weak at the knees I could barely stand (but maybe that was form the one too many wines I had with my blogger babes the night before, I'm looking at you, Lolli). 60's vibes and possibly the cutest set ever I was instantly captivated by the models sashaying around planting flowers whilst artist Alia Penn painted the beautiful back drop. Presented afterwards with floral cupcakes and elderflower champagne (hair of the dog, is it?) it was a beautiful start to day 2.
Onto Julien. Oh my that man knows how to put on a show. Opulent, elegant, sexy and feminine all at the same time. His signature OTT vibe was presented through figure skimming pencil dresses featuring mirrors, feathers and crystals, Julien showed us more really is more. My good friend and old flat mate Iole is actually interning for him at the moment, so it was extra special for me knowing a lot of her hard work went into it too. Simply amazing.
Last of the day (and after a little break at home) was KTZ at 9pm. Of course it didn't start until 9:30, but that doesn't mean I didn't love it any less. KTZ was my first ever On-Schedule show a year ago, so it was lovely and sentimental to be back, especially with the LFW season I've just had. The half hour wait gave me some time to think how far me and my little blog have come since I first moved to London, and how lucky I am to cover such incredible shows, I'm pinching myself right now as I write this from my apartment in Milan. Back to the collection - heavy monochrome was of course used, dotted with with subtle hints of baby pink and flashes of gold across a widely textured palette of different crafted fabrics. I also strangely fell head over heels for the little tee-pee type hats. Get me one.
Sorry this is a little late, travelling and planing for MFW & PFW has really taken it out of me! Stay tuned for lots more Fashion Month coverage!
