Notting Hill

90's Baby

. August 08, 2016 .

Shooting in London can often mean you get a variety of photo-bombers and strange accidental captures. Whilst predictably scouting out a pretty white location in Notting Hill with Gemma, the cutest little black kitten insisted on getting some camera time too – clearly I was very happy about it despite the number of outtakes! I bloody love cats. Anyway – back to the outfit...

I already mentioned how obsessed I am with the choker-trend a couple of posts back. I'm yet to find an outfit I can't wear one with (I even went as far as wearing a neck tie to yoga the other day) and just love the playful 90's twist it brings to your look. On the scorching hot day we shot these images I went all out and paired the choker with a spaghetti-strap cami for a total 90's look, brought up to date with some skinny jeans and my new favourite loafers. A near exact dupe for the Gucci ones, they're real leather, comfy as hell and under £40 – job well done New Look.

Another look that's an ode to battling London humidity, and accidental outfit series that seems to be surfacing here on SC. I'm off to the South of France with in a couple of weeks and can't FRIGGIN wait to get my butt back on a beach and a glass of rosé in hand. What are your tips for summer dressing in the city?
