What I wore on Father's day. We took a trip down to Weston-Super-Mare to visit my Nan and Grandad who were holidaying down there for a short while. Those of you that know Weston will know its not the most glamorous of beaches but I love the seaside and its got a few cute little places there! Unfortunately the sun had disappeared from the time I got dressed to the time I got on the beach but I luckily had my favourite vintage Levi's denim jacket with me! Please excuse the atrocious windswept mane on my head, clearly I should have worn a hat haha. Anyway, this is another dress that I wore on my 18th for in the day, and I love it so much I'm trying to come up with different ways of dressing it down so I can wear it more! I paired it with a cropped jumper as not to cover up the lovely cut of the skirt and (badly) pinned it tighter at the back to keep the shape of the dress. I really like collars and there's a lot of them around at the moment and this dress has the cutest little satin one and I love the way it looks with the jumper. The jumpers got so many neutral tones so I decided to wear a few necklaces to keep the top half interesting, and then paired the outfit with ankle boots and sunglasses for a more day-time look. Hope you all had a good Fathers day too!

Yesterday Motel and Gimme Shelter! came together for a fantastic vintage fair sale, a 'Double Whammy' as they liked to call it!The Gimme Shelter boutique is an actual hidden treasure, located in The Lanes bowling alley it's been on of my favourite Vintage hotspots for a couple of years now, so to have it come together with Motel clothing, one of my favourite labels, was very exciting. With clothing starting from just £5 it was a vintage-lover's paradise. There was rail upon rail of Vintage shirts, shirt-dresses, Levi's, jumpers and jackets, as well as a table with an amazing array of vintage accessories, The white gemmed shoes above being my favourite piece! unfortunately I'm on a bit of a budget at the moment so couldn't leave with as much as I liked (even though everything was bargain-worthy) but I did manage to nab this amazing leather jacket. It was a perfect fit and although you can't really see it in the picture above it has an elasticated waist which gave it a very peplum-esque shape, which is very  on trend at the moment. My boyfriend said that with the jeans I was wearing it made me look like I'd just walked off an episode of friends, which somehow made me love it more. For those of you that live in Bristol, head down to the Gimme Shelter! at The Lanes for more bargain vintage buys. Let me know what you guys think!
