We're already a whole week into September and London Fashion Week is right around the corner. That means I've got the new season and new trends on the brain and how I'll be wearing them over the next few months. One of my favourite themes for this Autumn Winter are the metallic trends. From glitter stars and moons at Alexander McQueen, to brocade and hammered metal textures at Burberry and Michael Kors, metallics were all over the catwalks for the coming season.
In the lead up to fashion week I'm scouring my September issues and planning some awesome outfits around this trend, but also about how to make it wearable now with the right accessories. That's were these beautiful new pieces by PANDORA come in. When browsing their new Autumn Winter collection, I knew these beautiful opulent silver pieces would be the perfect way to accessorise the metallic looks I have planned for this season. Even with the relaxed garments I'm wearing here ahead of the fashion week madness, the jewellery perfectly picks up on the metallic sheen to my cami top, making the otherwise basic outfit look trend-led.
As you can see, the jewellery catches the light so beautifully and really adds an element of luxe to your outfit whilst still being trend conscious. The Vintage Allure necklace and earrings make a gorgeous matching set that perfectly nails the metallic trend, yet the timeless design is classic and versatile enough to go with anything in your AW wardrobe. I think my favourite of the pieces, though, has to be the rings. I'm used to sticking to slimmer styles but the new season – especially at fashion week – is all about experimenting with something new and making a statement, and these bold, opulent rings do just that. The intricate detailing on them is so gorgeous and eye-catching and of course, they sit perfectly together too.
