#CoatsInTheCity - New York

. November 03, 2016 .
Behold! My very first coat of the season. And, what better place to christen it than on the streets of New York (and on the coldest bloody day, might I add!). We were blessed with 28 degree sunshine on our first few days in the city, but towards the end of the trip autumn truly started to settle in and I was so thankful to have this furry new addition to throw over my shoulders! So I'm really excited to be bringing you this post in collaboration with my faves at Wallis as part of their amazing #CoatsInTheCity campaign.

From Wallis' ever amazing Petite range, this coat is a great choice if you often feel a bit swamped by giant faux fur coats, it's versatile, light and of course the leopard print is so on trend this season. I love how the cropped silhouette balances out the whole look – especially when teamed with over the knee boots! But if you do like a longer-line cut, it's also available in a longer length too. These black suede effect ones by Wallis are actually super comfortable and saw me through a whole day of exploring in NYC.

I'm also wearing the cutest star-print graphic knit underneath (it really was cold!) which is very Tommy Hilfiger and makes for a gorgeous print clash with the faux fur leopard. Wallis have an amazing collection of coats in right now (I've just ordered this gorgeous camel one and have my eye on this one too!) so be sure to check out their full collection. You can also see my feature and how other bloggers have been styling their coats in other cities in their inspo hub here (going live tomorrow).
