Lessons In Layering

I don't know about you guys, but I've more than had enough of bundling up in layers upon layers of knitwear. All I want to do now is crack out pretty spring camis and dresses and live in them for the rest of the year. But alas, this bout of arctic weather we're having doesn't seem to be shifting just yet so right now I'm all about layering up pretty pieces.

This grey frill trim knit is a great little layering piece, its simple, a fine knit and fits well to the body but still has some gorgeous frill trim detailing on the collar and cuffs. I expect I'll be living in this Mango lace cami come summertime, but for now, the delicate lace and button detail is equally as beautiful layered on top of this knit. 

Keeping the look fairly mono-toned, I teamed these pieces with my favourite New Look coat and yep, I finally took the plunge and got some PVC trousers! I mentioned before I was a little scared to go full-out Vinyl but these Pretty Little Thing ones are a great happy medium – a super stretchy and comfortable coated denim they still give off a brilliant high-shine and fit like a glove, my new go-to's!
