I’d usually shy away from pinafore-type dresses, twee dresses aren't really me but this utility style khaki dress by French Connection is all kinds of awesome. Khaki can often look a little bland but I love the rich green palette this dress has, the subtle gold hardware adds that perfect bit of extra detail too. I paired it with a leather crop underneath for a ‘cut-out’ effect which I think looks really cool, who said blue and green should never be seen? Keeping it ladylike I paired this look with my favourite patent nude pumps by Daniel. I hope you enjoyed this look - though I've layered it over a crop here I can tell this dress is going to be a great transitional piece for me, I’m thinking a grey ribbed knit and some patent black ankle boots for the colder season.

Transitional Layering

. April 13, 2015 .

Stripes are a great transitional tool, the monochrome makes them winter appropriate yet they're almost nautical too. I knew when I bought this Zara top back in February it would last me through till summer. Though it's not quite summer yet, so I threw my trusty leopard jacket (amazing dupe for just £24 here!) to complete the look. See more & links below!

Suns out, flowers out. This bright two piece has been burning a hole in my wardrobe since February so, taking full advantage of this glorious weather, I took it for it's first outing yesterday. Floral prints are usually a little too twee for me, but with the right styling - the masculine elements in this look for example - I do quite enjoy them in the spring, as cliched as it is. See more below.

Florals for spring? Groundbreaking

It's finally here. HELLO sunshine! Rumour has it it's going to be 19° on Friday so really I need to be thinking about a warmer wardrobe. This post-bank holiday casual getup I wore whilst running errands on Kings Road today, and usually bank and post office runs are monotonously boring but I certainly struck lucky walking past Duck and Dry whilst they were offering free blow dry's - hence my unusually preened mane, thanks to their awesome team for that. Laid Back Layering

Overalls can be  tricky to wear (especially if you're booty-heavy like me) but balanced with the right pieces they make an awesome outfit. For this look I've feminised them with a pair of ladylike boots and a red lip, not forgetting my Whistles 'feminin' French slogan sweat thrown on for good measure. See more below!

The clocks have gone forward, the sun is begining to peek through the clouds and it's finally starting to feel like spring, so I thought it was about time I took these monochrome Lavish Alice baby's out for a spin, they've been burning a culotte shaped hole in my wardrobe. Click below for more!

Give a girl the right pair of jeans and and she can conquer the world. I know it was Marilyn that originally said that and I'm pretty sure she said shoes, not jeans, but I don't know a girl that doesn't feel awesome with their booty in perfectly fitting denim. Speaking of which, I've teamed up with Miss Selfridge to become the ambassador for one of their brand-new jean styles, the Steffi super high waist skinny jean.

Though I love a good flare and the odd palazzo pant, the skinny jean is without a doubt a year-round wardrobe staple. The Steffi jean is flattering and oh-so-comfortable with a good stretch and super high waist cut they're my new go-to pair of skinny's. See below how I styled them three ways!

Paris

Happy Friday loves! I'm back on British soil now with a severe case of Parisian blues, so today is all about these dreamy set of images Lizzy and I shot on the last day of Paris Fashion Week during our stay. We were blessed with two gorgeous days of sunshine and it finally felt like the start of spring, so of course I took full advantage of not having to layer up and opted for this floaty 70's inspired number. Floating in neutrals | PFW

In the run up to fashion week, I'm definitely all about laid back looks. The last few days have been all about comfort for me, so I hope you enjoy this casual look before the LFW madness begins!

Calm Before The Storm

. February 18, 2015 .

I may be jumping the gun, it is only February after all. But when the sun decided to really show it's face yesterday I couldn't help myself, it was on with a dress. And actually, I wasn't even cold at all! It looks gorgeous outside this morning as well, and I'm praying it sticks around for fashion week. But, knowing our typical British luck, Somerset House will be a wet mess by Friday. See more below.

A Valentines outfit is always one of my favourites. Whether you have a special date night planned or you're off out with the girls, it's a great excuse to get your glad rags on. This year I've gone with a LBD from Motel with a romantic sweetheart neckline, sheer paneling and motif's to make it that little bit more special. See more below...
