School Girl

A crisp white shirt is a wardrobe staple. With a sharply tailored collar and buttonless appearance, this neat little Joules number ticks all the right boxes. Teamed with my scuba mini from Zara, I'm shamelessly embracing the school girl vibes.

Palm print is slowly becoming somewhat of an addiction for me, there's something about green leaves that I can't resist at the moment. I've had my eye on this Reiss bikini since I saw it on their Instagram, so of course I was totally in love with this silk scarf that I picked up at the Fashion Chick event. It adds just a tropical touch to any outfit and brings it right into the summer season. I also love the way the prints clash with my new Cos tee, I've been after a breton top for a while and spied this one on one of the beautifully minimal displays that Cos get so right. Only £12 too, absolute bargain. Keeping it comfy I wore my distressed boyfriend jeans and Whistles slip ons to complete the look, my trench thrown over the top to protect me from these random rain outbursts that have been gracing the sunshine.

Of course I wear (faux) fur the day the sun decides to shine it's brightest. But this She Inside gilet has been burning a hole in my wardrobe so I had to take it for an outing. I love how it looks layered with this Zara roll neck too, it's such a nice texture combination. I teamed the look with my (severely) distressed denim jeans, and old buy from River Island, and my favourite accessories of the moment of course.

Roshe

I wore this on Sunday on a trip to Carnaby St with my flatmate Iole, who did a fabulous job of taking these photos I might add! My Nike's arrived last week and oh my god I am in love. Not only are they like walking on air but are so breathtaking beautiful I nearly cried unboxing them. I really love dressing down outfits with Nikes, and especially how they look with long line blazers and coats- it's like Roshe's and my Zara jacket were made for each other! After a bit of shopping and outfit snapping we headed to a lovely little bar and shared the most delicious Mezze platter and bottle of wine for just £19! I've forgotten the name of it of course but it's the one opposite Cirque De Sois club - I actually went there too also last Friday, and what a night that was. I have so many photos ready to edit and post but I don't know where my time is going at the moment, so stay tuned and have a fabulous weekend!

Oh My Love Student Edit #2: Gallery Trip

Apologies for the graininess of these photos! My camera seems to be misbehaving a lot lately and deciding the white balance off its own accord. This is my second look as part of the Oh My Love Student Edit, how cute is this little playsuit? As fashion students we're always encouraged to go and visit gallerys and exhibitions, so last Friday afternoon I took a trip out to Kings Road to the Saatchi gallery with my flatmate Nina. We had a wander round and saw some really interesting pieces, I'd really recommend having a look if you're in the area. What's great is that it's admission free, it's such a big place we didn't cover all the floors which is okay as I now have an excuse to return. I got Nina to snap these for me just outside the gallery then we went for a drink in the gallery cafe which was beautiful, we only had tea but I'd love to go back and try some of the food! I'm also wearing a few more new additions in this outfit, when my mum came down for a couple of days she treated me to this gorgeous bag from Zara. I've had my eye on it since seeing it in the Zara by Free Masons hall at Fashion Week and it's just the perfect size to fit everything in, I went home for a couple of nights this weekend and managed to survive with just this- thanks mumma. On said Zara trip I also picked up a new black skort and this blazer which I found in the sale for just £9.99! It's a size to big but for that price I couldn't leave it, it's still a nice fit and is perfect for brightening up AW outfits. Another triumphant purchase were these boots from Primark, the cut out and metal hard wear details made them just irresistible and they didn't quite break the bank either.

I had my first day at LCF today! I got talking to a few people on my course and we were given the low-down on what's coming up this term. I'm honestly so excited to get into the course now, it all looks so exciting. What are you guys wearing back to school/uni? 

Weekend

Finally I've gotten round to shooting an outfit in my new Zara skort! I picked it up in London when I was doing the Croc's styling project form the new Zara Oxford Circus store (which is amazing btw). I saw it from the other side of the store and probably ran a little to quickly over to it and picked up the last small, struggling to contain my excitement that I'd finally found one in my size! I've literally worn it to death and its my new favourite item of clothing already, but I think this is one of my favourite looks with it, I love the electric blue with the white. I wore this for date night with Dave, we went to see The Hangover 3 which isn't actually all that despite the mixed reviews, we definitely had quite a few laughs.  I'm also super stoked with my new bit of arm candy from La Moda, I'm loving neutrals at the moment so the Kylie seemed the perfect choice for my new summer handbag. It's just the right size for my laptop, makeup and essentials and has lots of useful compartments inside, so it'll be an ideal carry on! Creepin'

Zara Jacket, Religion Glasses, Primark Jumper, H&M Skirt, New Look Creepers

Hiya everyone! Hope you're all having a good weekend :) Please excuse the graininess of these photos, silly me forgot to change the ISO setting from the last time I used it at the Fashion Show!.Finally my new Creepers have appeared on here! I'm pretty excited about them because  they were an absolute bargain, I got them from New Look and they only set me back £25! You'll also see me wearing my glasses for the first time in this post, my eyes haven't been on top form recently so thought I'd better start wearing them. I wore this out for a university open day and lunch with my boyfriend and his cousin! Yes I've bought myself another leather skirt, I'm justifying the purchase with the fact its a totally totally different style haha. I wore my new fluro knit to brighten up the leather on leather, as its getting colder I thought I'd better invest in something more substantial and its suprisingly so wearable. Hope you're all settling back into the autumn all right!

Festival Find

Hello lovelies :) Sorry its been a little while since I last posted! Last weekend I went to Creamfields festival and it was absolutely amazing! I saw some insane acts live, and had the best time with my friends regardless of the last day being cancelled. Have a look at my instagram for some more photos, although I will shortly be doing a post on Creamfields and festival outfits! So as I've been missing the Creamfields I decided to wear a festival inspired outfit out for dinner last night. I bought these shorts just before I went and ended up wearing them everyday! I paired it with a simple Reiss vest to keep it casual but gave the outfit an edge by wearing my new leather jacket. I say new, its more second hand, and a very very lucky find! Some of you may have heard that the last day of the festival was cancelled due to weather conditions, and with that hundreds of campers up and left leaving most of their tents, sleeping bags, and wet things behind. Me and my friends stayed the extra night (and actually had an amazing time still) and I went to move an abandoned tent away from ours to find this beautiful jacket! It had been left with a tent and sleeping bag but had no more than a few splashes of mud on it that came straight away with a face wipe. I was so happy to find it and it kept me very warm and dry on the last day, also its from one of my favourite shops Zara, so I was an extremely happy bunny to say the least! Now its had a wash and is as good as new I can't keep it off, its a classic piece and fits right into my wardrobe. edit: PS: The girls that left the jacket spent hours getting ready, fake lashes, extensions, caked make-up etc, (at a festival) so i think that it was left intentionally because of the (small) amounts of mud/teeny bit of damp so i dont think she wanted it any longer!

PPS: I've just noticed I look the same colour as my garage. awesome.
